Hello,

The World Wide Web Publishing Service (WWW service) lives in the service host, Svchost.exe.
The FTP, NNTP, and SMTP services and the IIS metabase, known as the IIS Admin service, lives in Inetinfo.exe. If the IIS Admin service terminates abnormally, IIS restarts automatically.

I have the same issue only the WWW publishing service stops every minute (to the exact seconds).  It will restart about 5 times but then finally fails completely until a manual restart.  did you ever get a resolution to this?

Turns out is was Mcafee Antivirus pushing policy updates every 5 mins on port 8081.
I ended up breaking the inheritance from our EPO console for this server and changing the update to once per day, not every 5 mins.

We have also uninstalled the Mcafee HIPS Service from all servers.
