Library Item rating in Sharepoint 2007 (MOSS)

How to question ?

I want to be able to provide a rating option for documents (proposals) in a sharepoint library, e.g. like 23 people have voted and it has a 3.5 out of 5 rating.

This is NOT part of a survey, rather an extra column in the library list.

Is this possible ? How ?
