I recently installed sbs 2008 server and while settting it up, I noticed something about virtual clients or virtual desktops.  Can sbs 2008 server offer virtual workstation desktops to my employees?  If so, I am thinking this would make life simpler in setting up and maintaining each employees desktop.  I would like to know if anyone has experience with this and how well it has worked for them, input on whether to do this and if I do it, how to set up.

You cant use Hyper V on a domain controller (and that's what SBS is) What you want is Remote Web Workplace (or RWW) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ebs-2008-remote-web-workplace(WS.10).aspx

how do I keep people from sharing the certificate and letting others put that cert on a computer and log on?  Trying to think of how to keep unauthorized people from accessing.

As long as you have strong passwords you will be safe, its all Active Directory authenticated.
Have a look at http://www.winvistatips.com/require-certificate-rww-access-t636216.html for rough idea what to do, its not something I have done before
