Windows 7:
  I uninstalled office 2007 on my HP computer and now I'm trying to reinstall it. I run the setup program and it starts out fine completing 99% of it but just stops.  I've rebooted the computer and tried it again but no luck.   So I tried to install Office 2003 but get a error 1500 Another installation is in progress.
I've looked at the microsoft web site and it says to delete the InProgress registry key but there isn't one that I can find.
Any ideas here?

David;
   Thanks for the link but when running the fix for the 2007 office suite I get the following error message
"This Microsoft Fix Does not apply to your operating system or application version".
The computer with this issue is running Windows 7 so I think this could be the issue.
Is there a fix that will run on Windows 7?

thanks.

There is a product with a 30 day trial that might offer a way to uninstall it.
