Hello, I have the latest version of Trixbox CE, 2.8.0.4 and have installed a Sangoma A200 card with 2 daughter cards.  (12 ports total).  I installed the Wanpipe RPM and ran through the setup (I think they are setup right but have never worked with analog cards.)  How do I setup each port as an extension?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you using FXS or FXO ports?

FXO ports, 12 of them.

I was afraid of that. The FXO is used to connect an analog line to a telco provider. To set up the lines as extensions that you can hang an analog phone on you need FXS ports.

Thanks!  I have a swap out request in with the reseller.  What do I need to do once I have the correct modules?

Thanks!

Once you get the daughter boards in, run genzaptelconf to setup the channels. Your zapata-auto.conf file should show the zap channels as fxs_ks. Then go to the Extensions page of trixbox. Click add extension and select Generic ZAP Device and click submit. Set the extension number, name and enter the first zap channel. Click submit and then apply the changes. Plug in a phone and you should have dial tone. Dial *65 to make sure you have the right port.
