Hello Experts,

I have recently got the dreeded Antimalware Doctor Windows update virus. I have successfully removed this and the computer is working fine now but when I go to Windows Update site it says page cannot be displayed.

I have looked in the "Restricted Sites" in Internet Explorer and there is thousands of sites that have been entered (probably from the malware). It will take forever to remove all of these sites. Does anyone how I can select all of them and remove them at once?

Got it!
Do the following...
- Open Regedit
- Nav to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains
- Export the Key "Domains"
- Save it to location on machine
- Delete "Domain" folder currently in Registry
- Right click on the Exported "Domain" reg file
- Click Edit, Delete everything under the first line
*First Line: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains
- Save the Reg file, close the editor
- Double click the Reg file, Click Yes to apply and OK
- Open Internet Explorer and check Restricted Sites (everything should be gone)

This now clears all of the Restricted Sites in Internet Explorer.

Hope this helps~!

These are stored in the registry.  Look in the following locations:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains
