'-----call vbscript from asp.net
Try omitting the runat for vbscript, because as far as I know, vbscript is only a client side script anyway.
Also try using:
<asp:Button ID="btnEditSave" Text="Edit" OnClick="vbs:btnEditSave_Click" />

code behind..

------------------------------Code Behind-------------------------------------------------------
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        if (!IsPostBack)
            Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this.GetType(), "MyScript", "<script language='VBScript' type='text/vbscript' src='../MyVBScript.vbs'></script>");
    }

    protected void GridView1_RowCreated(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
    {
        if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow && e.Row.DataItem != null)
            ((Button)e.Row.FindControl("UnMatchButton")).Attributes.Add("OnClick", "fClick()");
    }

    protected void GridView1_RowCommand(object sender, GridViewCommandEventArgs e)
    {
            if (e.CommandName == "UnMatch")
                //Call Code for Unmatching.
    }

Which specifically tells the OnClick procedure that it is to use a vbs function.

Hi GlobaLevel,

Can you clarify your question?  Showing a VB sample for a question that wants a recursive Fortran front-end to a DB2 database is a bit confusing.  :)

By the way, DB2 SQL handles recursion quite well.  You may be better served letting DB2 handle the recursion and returning a single result set to you.
