How do I change the video size to 16:9 in Joomla

I'm using All videos reloaded joomla plugin to display the media in the articles. All the vedios are 16:9 format but when I add the video in the avr plugin I dont get it. How do I make sure that they are 16:9. How
can I use jquery or something else so that as soon I click the video the screen goes dark and video plays in the center.
