OSD - storfit.sys Windows 7
I am attempting to deploy Windows 7 x64 Enterprise to a Hyper-V virtual machine using OSD/PXE. The deploy task sequence completes successfully, but when the deployed VM reboots, I get the following error:
File: \WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\ storflt.sy s
Status: 0xc0000359
Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt.
I have tried deploying the VM with both a OSD capture image and the install image. Both images generate this error. I have tried starting the deployed VM in safe mode and still get this error.
I know from research that storflt.sys is a virtual storage filter driver for Windows Server 2008 used by Hyper-V guests. However, when I check the reference Windows 7 VM for the captured image, that driver is not present in C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVER S.
I am running ConfigMgr 2007 R2 on W2K8 R2. Hyper-V is fully patched RTM version.
Anybody have any ideas on this error?
