image not showing up in IE

Hello Experts
I have made a simple page and for some reason its showing the image in FF/Opera but not in IE
http://109.108.136.140/
Please can someone advise what is going wrong here?

from what I see, a lion and a unicorn? the image at the top seems to be working.

I have tried using your suggested HTML I am not able to view in IE, not in my PC and also on my work PC
This is what I see in IE

Your image shows in Chrome but not in IE 8
Saving the .jpg file locally and attempting to open it in IE 8 produces the same results.
This leads me to believe that the file was saved with some JPEG options that are not supported by IE 8.

I converted your logo to a different JPG type and it seems to open now.

Looks like a possible bug in IE.
