Create new SmarterMail users programmatically

I'm looking at purchasing SmarterMail Enterprise. Our biggest need is the ability to programmatically create new users (email accounts) on the fly as employees are added...and delete users as employees leave the system.

Is this possible with classic ASP (vbscript)? Possibly using the Mailbee Active X object?

SmarterMail has an API for automation.  See here for v5:

There may be updates for v6 or v7, but I could not find them immediately.
