how do I set Emoze account when incoming mail server authentication is different from outgoing mail server authentication

I've recently configured my email account on the Nokia E71 and it works fine. The only issue bothers me is that the phone should pull the emails every few minutes from the server.
In order to have a PUSH email service I've Installed Emoze client and it works fine only when the incoming mail server's authentication is the same (same password) as the outgoing mail server authentication.
That is, when I enter the password for the outgoing mail server it also changes the incoming mail sever authentication password and vice versa. What actually happens is that just after I finish setting the outgoing server SMTP authentication and confirm the email account it keeps changing back to the default value "same as incoming".
This doesn't happen when setting the same email account as a standard E71 email but only when configuring the Emoze email account.
Any idea what is going on here?? Am i doing something wrong or there is a trick I should know about??
