Sorry I'v never use this tool on samsung drives. But I can recommended for universal tool that I like very mutch calld HDDRegenerator very easy to use if you need any question about I can help.<br />

I bought this samsung 1tb hard drive like 4days ago and I think there is a bad sector.<br />
<br />
The problem I've seen so far with my computer is:<br />
<br />
1) Sometimes windows does not load.<br />
2) When I want to download a file, can not save the file to a specific directory.<br />
<br />
Also I've used full chkdsk utility but it didn't fix it.<br />
<br />

Is this a bad sector and should I change the HDD to other one?<br />
