Exchange 2007 (Test-ExchangeSearch Failed


Hi I have a Exchange server 2007 runnnig on server 2008

i Get this alert in Scom

SCOM Alert: An error occurred while running the Test-ExchangeSearch cmdlet. Failed to complete before the timeout.
Description: The ExchangeSearch test failed. A simple search did not return the expected results before the default timeout.

The initial event reported:


The search performed by this test failed.

Response to rule: {8694A291-738E-6F9C-A680-721E94DDDDEC}

Diagnostic command: Test-ExchangeSearch -MonitoringContext:$true


When I run Test-ExchangeSearch

I get this result

C:\Windows\System32>test-exchangesearch

                       ResultFound                              SearchTime
                       -----------                              ----------
                             False                                      -1


I have followed this guide:

I have run the script , but its the same error i get when i Run Test-ExchangeSearch


PLEASE HELP ?

Hi

Please check attactment

I have done like in the link and now Exchange Search Indexer services will not start

I just ran the msi file from cd MSFTE , I dobbel click on it

and now I get this error

Please help me

how can i start the service again
