SM Bus Controller not working

Hi,

I have a machine with a AMD Athlon II X2 245 processor and i cant get the onboard NIC to work, in the device manager the SM Bus Controller isnt installed and i just cant find drivers to get it working.

i have downgraded from Windows 7 to Windows XP

Please post your motherboards Manufacturer and Board number (number on the board eg. gigabyte ga-g41m-es2lt)  The number is usually located on the motherboard itself.

Right click on the SM Bus device in Device Manager and select properties.
Then select the "Details" tab
Use Ctrl+c to copy the device instance ID string.
Then paste it (Ctrl+v) in your reply.

Please post if the link worked for you cause I'm having trouble getting it to work from my other PC, but works fine on this one.

Post your computer's brand and model, you need a chipset driver install and restart your computer afterwards.
