All of a sudden I can't open Outlook. I get the message "Cannot start Office Outlook.
Cannot open thee Outlook window"  I have contacted Microsoft, paid $54 and they gave me switches to try and open it up, but was unsuccesful.

I have downloaded the Misrosoft FixIt program, but now get an error message when running it "The System Administrator has set  policies to prevent thiss installation? I also find that I cannot uninstall programmes using the programs and features file in Control Pannel?
DirkievdWalt,

You need to login as an administrator in your machine to run the program.

If your unit is connected to a LAN and you have no admin rights on it, you need to ask your system admininistrator to do it for you.

As referenced in the KB that Mindsuperb mentions, I have used Start -> Run, Outlook.exe /resetnavpane for this kind of error.

If possible, your other option is to right-click on your Outlook icon on the desktop, choose Properties, and create a new profile to access your email.  Then set that new profile as your default.  You should then be able to open Outlook.
