how do I extend t1 from outside demark

t1 demark has t1/hdsl  (screw terminals) yel/blk/red/green
and data dds (screw terminals) yel/blk/red/green
all listed as circuit 1.   I know it only takes two pair to extend
the t1, but which screw terminals do I use ?

Use those labeled as T1/hdsl. This chart will help you connect to a typical cat5e cable, but i wouldn't extend very far without proper T1 cable which shields the tx/rx from crosstalk (<100ft or so arguably). Another option is to use 2 separate cat5e cables with tx on one and rx on the other. Colors on the left are your cat5 colors etc. Also, you would typically want to use an RJ48x jack rather than an RJ45 as it has built in shorting bars to keep the circuit up and looped when unplugged.

Pin      Color                 Description
1      blue                         RecvData + Ring RED (or yellow)
2      blue/white         RecvData - Tip GREEN (or black)
3      Unused                 Unused
4      orange                 TxData + Ring YELLOW (or red)
5      orange/white         TxData - Tip BLACK (or green)
6      Unused                 Unused
7      Unused                 Unused
8      Unused                 Unused
