session timeout while uploading.

session gets time out while uploading file,
how can I control this without increasing session timeout time in php or joomla 1.5?

Is the client and server on same LAN? Or is the server somewhere out on internet?
Have you tried uploading from another computer to check if it's the same result?

Also, if you're uploading from Internet Explorer then try Google Chrome or FireFox as well.

session timeout is defined in joomla. Thaty it gety timeout.
I want to know how we can avoid this while uploading?

Do you get the timeout with very small files only a few KiloBytes large?
Wondering if it could be the MaxFileSize value in Apache causing the timeout.

Sorry, it shouldn't be "MaxFileSize" but rather "upload_max_filesize" in php.ini
