OUTLOOK.exe - Application Error

Each time I close down Outlook 2003 I get an application error saying:

DDE Server Window: OUTLOOK 2003 - Application Error
The instruction at "0x090d737d" referenced memory at "0x09123478". The memory could not be "read".

I have deleted my Outlook profile and recreated but the problem still exists.
Have searched around and cannot locate any useful pointers - it seems however that this may be just associated with Outlook but other applications that use DDE (whatever that is).
The machine is fully patched etc.
Any ideas?

TRY THIS:

Go to Start Run and type in services.msc

In the Details pane, click Network DDE.

On the Action menu, click Properties.

On the General tab, stop the service and then in Startup type, select disable, and then click OK

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The Network DDE service is already stopped and set at a disabled state.

This was identified as a third-party Outlook Add-On needing to be re-written as it experienced some issues following some Windows Updates being applied. (No idea which Windows Update it was).
Once the Add-on was re-written by the third party all was well.

Identified as a Non-Outlook issue but a third party one.
