TweetDeck // How to measure tweets?

Hi,
I've a Twitter account with some tweets and want to know how these tweets have been spread to the Internet:
- How many hits had a specific tweet?
- Where has a tweet been re-tweeted?
- How did a tweet "travel" around the Internet?
Are these functions covered by TweetDeck?
Best regards

No way to directly know the number of clicks on a tweet... since a tweet is just displayed (no need to click it)

I presume you want to track clicks on a url that is in a tweet, which is a totally different issue.

- You can look at the target site stats to check the source of incoming links

- This however does not work for site out of your control... but there is a solution: some (but not all) url-shorteners do keep stats on links made thru them. I am personally using http://j.mp/ and I am quite happy with the stats it provides.
Eg, if you look at http://j.mp/aEzSnb+ you will get lots of info about this short-url:
- this link made by Fibo (me) has had 12 clicks, and its target page has had a total of 167 clicks as seen in http://j.mp/aFw6J2+
- information by clicks, locations and referrers are quite useful.

Note that "clicks" from FaceBook are just "1", since FB caches the page.

There are many tools to evaluate your "tweet-influence".

Tools like TweetDeck, Seesmic, etc, are great to help you tweet and get a first feedback (RT of your tweets, DM, etc).

You might consider using in addition a tool like Brandtweet http://stats.brandtweet.com/ which gives you a better vision of how you rate as compared to other users, or TweetStats http://tweetstats.com/ which gives you a different angle.

...and from where do I actually get statistics for a certain (one of my own!) tweets?

Bernard S.CTOCommented:
- statistics for a given tweet: you can know if your tweet was RTed with your @name present, but if your @name is not part of the RT you have no real way
http://twitter.com/home#replies (Note: this seems to currently have problems for some users, with some big hole between February, 2010 and now)

- those RT which are "regular RT" can be seen directly with http://twitter.com/home#retweeted_of_mine

- you might get some useful info from http://twitalyzer.com/tweets.asp
