Hello Experts,

I have a user who is trying to use his BlackBerry (BB) as a tethered modem. He is not able to use the BB as a tethered modem on his laptop however, when he connects the BB to a colleagues laptop system he is able to use it as a tethered modem. Also the colleague can not connect on the users laptop as a tethered modem but he can on his own system.

The user has conducted all the troubleshooting steps that we can think of including making sure that the tethered modem software is up to date and that both versions of the software on the colleagues system and his own system are the same versions. He has also done a wipe and re-activation on his BB eliminate that possibility as an issue.

Any assistance with troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. If more information is needed I can provide that to you. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

Thanks for the solution. It turns out that we don't support tethering for our users. I was able to relay this information to the end user and resolve the issue.

Thanks again.
