Can I update device software via BESX 5?

I have read posts related to this on the web, but I still can't find any decent explanation for my question.
I have 19 BBs. About half of them are 8830, the rest are 8530.
I have downloaded the newest device software for each model. Can I push those update via BESX automatically, or do I have to manually upgrade each unit?

I would appreciate general answer as well as some guidelines on how to make it work.

Over the air software loads were introduced in Handheld Software 4.5 and newer. So if these are devices running 4.2 and you wish to upgrade them to 4.5 this is impossible short of doing it on each handheld.
