Run-time error '57121': Application-defined or object-defined error

I have an Excel file that people in the company access one at a time (the file is NOT set to "Share Workbook.")

And after some VBA and file structure changes, this error is sporadically occurring after they click enable macros.

After this error appears, I see that a control button I've inserted is deleted, none of the VBA code will run (although the code exists in the editor), and all data validation drop down lists are wiped out!

I cannot duplicate this error on my PC, but it is happening, seemingly sporadically, across computers.  It's happened 4 times today and I need to constantly restore the file.

I need help, and fast!

Thanks

I think we need quite a bit more information - this could be happening for a no of reasons.

At least you seem to have eliminated one possibility - shared workbook restrictions.

Can you choose to debug when you get the error?

If so what piece of code is highlighted?

This error was being caused by a Control Toolbox Button.  I switched it to a Form Button, and I now longer get this particular error.
