We are testing a way to store certain email messages in SharePoint 2007. I have created a document library and gotten incoming email to work so I can forward to that library from my Inbox. The problem is that if I create a subfolder in the library I do not see any way to forward an email to it directly or even to drag it from the main folder to the subfolder.
Do I have to mail enable every subfolder? Also, why does the email address not show up in the GAL? With SMTP enabled on the SP server the address actually has a different server name as the destination than our regular email server. I do not want to have to tell everyone the email addresses to use to forward to the document library(ies)
