Is there an open source eCommerce engine that lets you post a deal of the day product?  I would like to know if there is something out there to put up a site like Woot! without any start up cost.

I would recommend taking a look at Magento (www.magentocommerce.com). it's a very powerful, well scripted ecommerce solution that is available for free. Out of the box you are able to setup anything you would normally do with a shopping cart and product catalog solution and then there is a whole lot of extensions available which will most certainly meet your needs.

Hope this helps.

I appreciate the reply but as noted I'm looking for an out of the box turnkey solution without cost to customize, I could use Magento, OS Commerce, Interspire or other shopping carts if I wanted to customize one.
