Hey everybody, I need to do the following using SAS:
Find the following four items and then print them on the output screen please:
4*tan^-1 (1)
Cube root of 29
SQRT of 47
Natural log of 82

4*tan^-1 (1)
Cube root of 29
SQRT of 47
Natural log of 82

Arc tangent function is ATAN
Cube root is expoentiatoin to the 1/3 power
Square root is SQRT or exponentiation to the 1/2 power
Natural log is LOG

data results;

length problem $50;

problem = '4*tan^-1 (1)';
answer = 4 * atan(1);
output;

problem = 'Cube root of 29';
answer = 29 ** (1/3);
output;

problem = 'SQRT of 47';
answer = sqrt (47);
output;

answer = 47 ** (1/2);
output;

problem = 'Natural log of 82';
answer = log (82);
output;
run;

proc print data=results;
run;
