I've read numerous threads here and in googles on this and nothing sems to solve this issue - probably because I know very basic knowledge of Exchange and don't get the terminology being used.
We're migrating a very small SBS2003 (5 users) to a new box with SBS2008. We've joined the new box to the domain and using the built-in SBS2008 Console migration wizard to complete the process - we're half way through the 21 day window. All has gone well until the Public Folder migration. We have followed the prescribed MS article method and "move all replicas" by right clicking the Public folder node on the old server in Exchange System Manager. That was three days ago. The MS article states that when there are no folders left in the Public Folders Instances node that replication is complete. As of now the same 19 folders are still showing as they were from the outset. only 5 of the 19 have any size to them from 2KB to the biggest at 1095KB. This is the article, which I am sure you know:
We need to crack on with this migration and I don't have enough understanding of public folder replication to know what to check or what to do next, especially as I don't know the jargon (yet!). When I got to this article: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/01/19/417737.aspx
after all I have read, I decided I need expert help and translation!
If the Public folder Instances still show 19 folders as from the outset (see image attached), then presumably according to the MS article nothing has happened yet. What do we do please?
