Hello,

Randomly users keep automatically being sent to http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/internet-explorer/time-to-upgrade.aspx when starting IE6.

Any idea how I can disable this? I have set the home page to our intranet via GPO.

Have you tried changing the following GP setting

User Configuration
 ->Administrative Templates
   ->Windows Componnents
       -> Internet Explorer
          -> Internet Control Panel
             -> Advanced Page
                  Automatically check for Internet Explorer Updates - Set to Disable
