AS2 Images not loading fast enough

I am dynamically loading images and everything works as expected about 95% of the time. Because of the network speed and the number of images being loaded, occasionally, there is an image that doesn't load. The XML used to locate the image is correct. I can copy the path and display the image, so I know that is good as well. When the XML is no good, then my error trapping works as expected.

The problem is that the image(s) do not always completely load. What do I need to do to make sure that once I start loading the image, that the image will completely load?

You cannot do anything in Flash to make sure to complete the file loading...  Flash just initiate the file loading process and sit & wait until it is fully loaded...

What you can do is give it a maximum time period that Flash will wait and then display an error message if there is no complete loading happening, and make sure that the image is something Flash can handle...

I wish there were another method I could call that confirms that it is loaded.
