hi experts, i am reading about datetimeoffset datatype

Which part is unclear?

If it is the concept of the data type itself, the datetimeoffset type is a means of storing a date and time value with awareness of its timezone.  Instead of simply being stored in the timezone of the server, the datetimeoffset field allows you to specify the exact timezone for which the date and time represents.

e.g., 2010-09-08 19:46:00 -04:00

That represents my current time.

The value specified by the size determines the precision of the datatype.  7 for example specifies that you can have up to 7 decimal places (fractional seconds).
