I would like to monitor my house with a wireless camera..I am down to 2 models Panasonic C-131A and Archerfish Solo Interactive Video Monitoring and Recording System.  It is difficult to tell which is a better camera for my needs.  I would like to monitor from outside my house and also be able to control the camera from afar.

Any suggestions in determining which is a better quality camera...Also what is a Weatherproof; IP54 rating

Hi PBO1,

First, the rating IP54 means rainproof where IP67 is waterproof, so if you live in Washington state or in the NE area you might want to get the IP67 just for longevity sake.

Second, I like the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of the Archerfish and the remote emails that are sent only in accordance with your specifications, so that you can view it on your phone right away. However the Panasonic was pretty sharp looking and had similar features. Again, if I wanted to view my house or business, I like the Archerfish and the idea of presetting my camera to send me alerts based upon the specifications I input.

In short IP54 is good but 67 would be better and the Archerfish seems to be the way to go.
