Rack Mount LCD KVM

I have a Rack Mount LCD KVM (RKP115-801E) that is asking for the console password.  The message is:

"Enter Password:

Console Off"

Typically the default password is eight 0s.  The KVM has the num lock key on and cannot be turned off.  When I press the zero key on the keyboard, the KVM makes a beep.  Other keys work (IE: A, B, etc).  I have also tried entering eight O (letter) too.   Other keys I called support and they are not sure about the issue.

Has anyone seen this issue?

The only thing I found in the User Manual is if you forget the password it has to be sent back to the Manufacturer to be reset ... Owner Manual is located here -- http://www.rackmountsolutions.net/RKP115-117-119_wKVM%20User%20Manual.pdf

Had anyone figures out another way to reset without sending it back to the manufacturer?
