So, if I understand correctly, the 16 bit AutoCad will run in Windows XP which is 32-bit. &nbsp;Correct?, but will not run in Windows 7 at least not the 64-bit version. &nbsp;<br />

Your suggestion of using Virtual Box + XP as an intermediary is very clever and would seem to be a workable solution. &nbsp;Because Internet access is very expensive and time limited (1/2 hour per day) to students in East Africa, I'll have to download virtualbox here and put it on disk and find a copy of XP to load as well..<br />
