CiscoWorks and Solarwinds NPM can  they be on same server?

I am running Cisco works on VMware and I want to install Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor on the same server CW is running on. Does anybody know if this will work?

No it will not work because both applications set up snmp receivers on the same port, so when you try to run both of them one of them will give you an error.  Also, ciscoworks has always been a resource hog, so I would not put anything on a server that is running ciscoworks.
