Short Cut Key/Command in Outlook

Hello Experts,

I have finally managed to get dialing in Outlook working. I would like to able to assign a short cut key to dial contacts. At the moment, to dial I have to click on 'dial' and then click on 'start call'.

Can someone please help assign a command/key to allow me make call with one keystroke. If that's not possible can someone please help me with a script to make it happen.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

thanks for responding.

I'm using outlook 2007.

No program has to dial. I just want to be able to find a shortcut to dial a contact in outlook.

I'm going to check out the link you mentioned.

Cheers

I just tried Ctrl+shift D and it doesn't dial the number.

In anycase, I think its going to need an expert who's clever at writing scripts, because there is more than one step involved.

Therefore, if there are any experts out there that can help compile a script to dial the telephone for a contact in Outlook I would be very grateful.

Cheers
