HP 41.08 errors

We have had 2 HP 4015tn network printers that will try to process a print job but some jobs randomly hang and the printer goes through the motions of printing (LCD reads "Processing" -rollers/wheels spin) but nothing prints. If we powercycle the printer then the printer does print. Each time the job hangs the error log shows a 41.08 error. Has anyone else ran into this with HP network printers? We have replaced the formatter boards, upgraded firmwares (04.047.2 was the last one) with no effect. On the first printer it was replaced with a new 4015 and the problem resumed after 10 months. Both printers are a single paper tray setup. Thanks in advance for any clues or ideas.
