I have found this page and I wish to see/test the code posted on it http://flintparticles.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=3
I have downloaded flint source from google code but it's not working. What do you think how can I test it (I'm relatively new to as3)? It's probably some older version of flintparticles.

theses packages
"import org.flintparticles
import com.afcomponents"

are not native... you have to download theses packages and reference them in your project

yes, I have allready downloaded org.flintparticles from code.google http://code.google.com/p/flint-particle-system/ but the post on that site is from 2008 and this new version of flint particles won't work for that code.

I get this errors:
1172: Definition org.flintparticles.actions could not be found.
1172: Definition org.flintparticles.counters could not be found.
1172: Definition org.flintparticles.displayObjects could not be found.
1172: Definition org.flintparticles.emitters could not be found.
and many others.

I have noticed that new version has two additional folders twoD and threeD where everything else is stored.

well... there are actually some examples available
in their repository
go to the
http://flint-particle-system.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
and then take a look in the "examples 3D" folder and the "example 2D" folder... there might be some stuff you like or some examples of the new lib
