Panasonic TDA15 to TDA30

If I have a TDA15 and a TDA30, can I take the SD card from the TDA15 and put it in the TDA30 and the TDA30 will boot ok and keep the previous config?  (assuming same cards in same slots etc)

I understand the TDA15 and TDA30 are very similar hardware so this trick might work?

Thankyou for taking time to look at my question.

Highly unlikely that it will work without any problems - the SD card includes config information that is specific to the capacity of the common equipment.  You may be able to reuse an SD card, but normally it would need to be loaded with the core software for the TDA30 first.  Thus, the replacement config would also have to be loaded.  It is less of a hardware match issue and more an issue related to how the manufacturer protects inappropriate use of their software.
You can try and it may even boot - but the mismatch will prevent you from using the additional capacity of the larger unit (the software will still think it is a TDA15).  I do not know if Panasonic uses any embedded encoding to link the SW to the processor to prevent it from loading.
