Have a look at Windows Remote Shell:

You can use Putty.  It also comes in handy for telnet/SSH.

Just set the connection type to Serial.  Make sure you select the appropriate connection settings under the serial category on the left.

They latest versions of PuTTY (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) have added serial support to address the removal of Hyperterminal from Windows Vista and newer.  I recommend it highly when using Windows as  it will give you a serial, telnet, rlogin and ssh client in one free and lightweight package.

NFR key for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (for 1 year, up to 10 users). This license allows for the non‑production use of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 in your home lab without any feature limitations.

Any of the above solutions will do, however, due to the number of features and options I suggest PuTTY or Teraterm.

Teraterm is widely used by the pros :)
