Backup Exec 2010 Media Prediction list such as in ArcServe

Hi All
I was wondering if anyone out there knows the answer to this BACKUP question

We used to have CA ArcServe which had really good feature called Media Prediction i.e. this is where a media prediction list for say the next week's backup operations was produced so that the backup administrator/operator knew which tapes to put in the library each day or week etc.
Now we have replaced ArcServe with BACKUP Exec 2010 and we are trying to find the same feature as we had in CA ArcServe but we cannot?

Does anyone out there know if such feature does exist within backup Exec 2010 or found way to do it in proper manner i.e. no sloppy solution as we are talking about enterprise environment?
Max points had been allocated to this for correct answer, if you need me to provide any further relevant info than please let me know

Thanks for your time and effort

I have used B/E for many years and do not know of such a feature. You mentioned that you have a library. If you have enough slots available you can partition your tape library so that it always pulls the same tapes for a specified backup. That way you never have to rotate out your tapes unless you need to.

Just out of curiosity why do you need such a feature? If your tapes are labelled correctly I wouldn't think it would be a guessing game as to which tapes you'd need. Are they using a barcode for the label?
