I want to handle date in Textbox

I have one textbox in that I want to enter Date in (dd/mm/yy format only) and I want to enter date from js/css(popup) file but if user will enter date by keyboard we will check in dd/mm/yyyy format only(with proper leap year) and it will also enter from popup.

You can use masked edit extender for date formats.Please check
