ajaxToolkit DropDownExtender on hover css

Hi all,
I am using ajaxToolkit DropDownExtender for having multi column dropdownlist.
I have done that except on mouse over i dont want that in built ajax css. it looks very bad.
have a look how it is looking on mouse over.

I have tried this solution:

and
http://forums.asp.net/t/1274252.aspx

but getting error as: _dropFrameTop is null or not found.

Any idea?
