Hi All,

I'm having problem with my Backup Exec 2010 R2, it failed to select the directory under the NFS mount (on D-Link DNS-323 device with no password) for all of the user in the domain it can map into \\10.2.2.50 and I've already map this drive in the "My Computer" as Drive Z:

but how come it cannot be selected as the backup source ?
for the other way around as Backup Folder yes, BE 2010 R2 can use it as backup folder.

any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JJ

Here it is the solution man,

I can perform the backup after going deep through the following setting from the Tools | Options | Default Network and Security options | Enable selection of user shares

hope this can be helpful for everyone here.

Cheers,

JJ
