Custom lightbox scroller arrows

Hi all, I'm attempting to create a scrolling gallery in Javascript that darkens the website behind it and appears in the middle of the screen. I immediately thought of Fancybox however, is there a way to customise the look and position of the navigation arrows? Many thanks :]

Could you use the nyroModal jQuery plugin with the gallery mode.

This plugin can be customized at all levels
