Citrix Secure Gateway 3.2 and Web Interface 5.3 on one Server

Hello,

I have been trying to get Direct and Gateway Direct to work properly on my Citrix secure gateway 3.2. And Web Interface 5.3.

My dilemma is when i have the Default secure access setting set to Direct all requests both Http and Https work internally which is great. I realize i need to enable Gateway Direct to work for external users however. When I create a secondary secure access route Gateway Direct with the ip route of 192.168.11.178 which is the internal ip of the server, anyone who references this server over Https internally included will be processed over the secure gateway.  That is great for external however I want all internal users to bypass the secure gateway.  If they just use Http they bypass. But when using Https internally it processes them through CSG.

Is there anyway to bypass even over Https internally?  When the only access route is Direct both Http and Https bypass the CSG internally. It just when I create that 2nd Gateway Direct route that it starts pushing https traffic internally through the CSG.

Any help is appreciated.

Apologies if I've misunderstood this, but why not have two sites?

One for internal use and another for external.

You can give them the same URL and just point your internal DNS to the relevant IP.
