Outlook/Exchange autoresponder on BCC mails

For monitoring purposes in our applications we make use of BCC e-mails. The problem we encounter is that if an employee is out of office and his/her autoresponder is on it will also send e-mails to the BCC monitoring mails. This is something we don't want.

Does anybody know a way to configure Outlook in a way that it won't send autoresponders mails to BCC addresses? Or to a specific e-mailaddress, for monitoring we could also use an e-mailaddress like monitoring@domain.com and make an exception in Outlook.

Our e-mailserver is an hosted exchange server.

Thanks in advance

Although it appears to be for Exchange 2003 - which version is your hosting provider using? 2007/2010?

Ok, on Exchange 2007 and 2010

Use the Set-DistributionGroup cmdlet, or the Set-DynamicDistributionGroup cmdlet with the SendOofMessageToOriginatorEnabled  parameter to allow Out of Office messages to be delivered to the senders of e-mail messages that are sent to this distribution group. Just set it to $false, which is the default setting.
