Hi Folks
I have a "select" input (dropdown with 5 values) and I have to execute a javascript function on click of the dropdown. I used jquery bind function to bind the click event of the "select" input to the javascript function. My function gets triggered on click in FF, IE7,IE8, Safari (Mac).

The same function does not work in Safari 5.0 for windows. Any pointers on how to solve this issue would be much appreciated.

Why not the correct "onchange" event instead of onclick?
