I have downloaded and install the security compliance manager.  Can someone please give me step by step instructions to get a sceregvl.inf file with MSS settings from the security compliance manager?  I have tried creating a new sceregvl.inf from the CIS benchmark guide but its a mess with all the line wrapped.

Thanks

This is a common problem that is still not supported.

Importing your own baseline or a CIS standard in INF format is not possible.

If you had it in CAB format it could be done.

Where can I obtain this in CAB format?  Is it documented somewhere?  Thanks

I'm not sure anyone provides CABs for these, but I'll see if I can find any.

In the meantime, here is a good read.  SCM Getting Started guide.

You *might* have some luck extracting something out of these packs.

I can't guarantee it, but it's a shot in the dark.
