Cannot turn on out of office assistant

I have recently upgraded to Exchange 2010 and have one user who is using Outlook 2010 that when he tries to setup his out of office assistant from Outlook it says your automatic reply settings cannot be displayed because the server is unavailable.  Yet when he goes through OWA it works no problem.

This will be because either the autodiscover service is not working or the certificate does not contain the correct subject names.

What names do you have in the certificate?

But it is working for everyone else.  Is his certificate wrong?

Ahh OK, so this is just for one user?
Sorry I misread the question, I apologise.

Is there anything particularly different about this user? Different version of outlook? Different version of WIndows?
Does they experience any other odities?

This is the only one.  Others have Office 2010 with no issues what so ever almost all are running Windows 7 as well.

ALong the same lines he canot view calendars all he see is the hash marks.  See picture.
