Question re Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional to recover accidental format

I'm presently using Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional to restore an accidentally formatted USB backup drive.  It's working - hooray!

My question is, it's going to be another 2 hours before it's finished its "Scanning for files" phase.  When done, will I be able to have the files restored to the same backup drive, or will I have to restore them to another location, then move them to the USB drive?

I ask this because I'm doing this from my laptop that has about 40GB of space left, and the drive I'm recovering has about 150GB of data or more.

You will have to restore to another location and not the drive you are scanning.
